The next Belvedere General Municipal Election is on November 3, 2026, when Belvedere voters will elect two members to the City Council, each for a 4-year term. Here’s what you need to know if you want to run for office.

Eligibility

You must be a registered Belvedere voter to be eligible to run for City Council.

Campaign Finance Disclosures

The FPPC (Fair Political Practices Commission) requires local candidates to file certain paperwork. Failure to file can result in penalties and fines. The City Clerk will provide the appropriate forms to candidates.
