
Emergency preparedness involves not only being ready for fires, floods and earthquakes, it also means being prepared to take appropriate action in the event of a medical emergency. That’s why Belvedere resident Tom Cromwell, MD is teaching a basic Life Saving Skills Class at the Belvedere-Tiburon Library. This free class includes how to perform CPR and the Heimlich maneuver, how to stop acute bleeding, and how to administer Narcan to reverse an opioid overdose. Join Dr. Cromwell on either Monday, April 7 from 6pm to 8pm or Tuesday, April 8 from 11am to 1pm. Residents of all ages are welcome register, and no medical training is necessary.
