Learn how to recognize and avoid scams, fraud, and identity theft at a free fraud-prevention workshop sponsored by the Belvedere Police Department and Marin’s Financial Abuse Specialist Team. The presentation, in Belvedere City Hall’s Council Chamber on Thursday, September 5 from 3-4 pm, will offer protection advice for all residents with a particular focus on older adults, who are the most frequent targets of financial scams and abuse.
